Restructuring your TEMPLATES - Combining Content and Assignments

  1. Watch this video (start at 1:30s) on How to: Add Start Here and Restructure a Course in Brightspace
  2. Pull out Module/Course Material/Weekly folders onto main Table of Contents into appropriate order underneath Start Here, Course Information (if kept), and Textbook (if exists).
    1. Select Modules or Course Material link in Table of Contents
    2. Drag and drop modules/folders onto Table of Contents (a line will show up between existing Table of Content items
    3. If additional informational docs exist place into appropriate location (Module, Course Information, Start Here) if needs to be kept
    4. When Modules/Course Material is empty, select Actions arrow > Delete Module
  3. Place Assignment folders into Modules/Weekly folders
    1. Select Assignment folder to move and drag and drop into corresponding folder in TOC (title block will highlight when selection to be place inside this folder)
    2. Repeat for all Assignments folders
  4. Relocate Assignments folder after Content items/Wrap-up
    1. Select each Module/Weekly folder > drag Assignments folder to bottom of list underneath all content items
    2. Repeat for all Module/Weekly folders
