Cengage Unlimited textbooks - If MINDTAP/ebook link is needed

If the MINDTAP/ebook link is unavailable, inaccessible, or is not linked, add to course shell:

• For MINDTAP: Go to Existing Activities > Cengage LTI Advantage > choose Add Homework Platform > find book to Link to Course > Create a new course, Copy an existing course, or (ideally) Copy from a course key > finish following steps to add to Textbook folder
  1. Update learning path, if desired.
  2. Update due dates.
  3. Click on several MindTap links to verify they open in MindTap and to enable grade syncing.
  4. If MindTap deep links need deployed: Go to where you want a deep links (say, Module X Assignments folder) > go to Existing Activities > Cengage LTI Advantage > click Select Content > drill down and select content > Continue. Repeat as needed. 
• For ebook only: Go to Existing Activities > Cengage LTI Advantage > choose Add ebook > find ebook to Link to Course > finish following steps to add to Textbook folder

  1. set assignments are to Practice
  2. set grade sync to Individual activity scores; do not add any assignment deep links
