How can I tell if a student has submitted an assignment late?

There are several ways to determine if a student has submitted an assignment late. The easiest way to determine if an Assignment has been submitted late is to check from the Assignment "buckets." However, you can also check from Grades and Quick Eval.

From Assignment “bucket”

from gray navbar: Assessments > Assignments
select the Actions arrow of assignment > View Submissions
Look at the Submission Date column
- notice that Student C is marked as 4 days late

From Grades

from gray navbar: Grades
select assignment column > Enter Grades
select a submission to start from
navigate through User submissions using the Previous / Next arrows.
- If late, it will be noted - same assignment for Student C in this view.

From Quick Eval

from Quick Eval widget on Course Home or from Course Admin > View by: Activities
hover over Evaluated (graphic) > click on Submission List
- Submission List: takes you to the same location as seen above in From Assignment “bucket”
- Evaluate All: takes you to the same location as seen above in From Grades
