Why aren't my graded Discussions showing up in the Grades tool?

The Discussion topic is likely not connected to the Grades tool correctly.

Here's how to resolve:

1. Edit Topic
2. where it says In Grade Book (or Not in Grade Book) choose Edit or Link to Existing
   
3. select Link to an existing grade item > locate the unlinked item from the dropdown list > OK
   
4. If the item does not exist in the Grades tool, select Create and link to a new grade item > OK 
   • name will default to the title of the Discussion topic
5. go to Grades > Manage Grades to verify item is linked using the Associations column
   
6. Reorder Grades rows if necessary
